Pack of 2 Olympus brand needles for sashiko, from Japan. Sashiko needles are special because they do not bend like embroidery needles, so you can load lots of stitches on the needle before pulling the thread through. They have a large eye because sashiko thread is thick, and a very sharp point.
This pack includes a longer needle for long, straight lines of stitching, and a shorter one for more intricate curves and patterns.
