This collection evokes the popular paper balloons which are given to children in Japan and can be blown up and deflated time and time again. They are safe to be played with indoors as they will not damage delicate paper 'shoji' screens or fragile walls, and are available in different sizes and even animal shapes nowadays. Traditionally, 'kamifusen' are made in the colours shown and the hole in the side allows the paper to inflate each time it is bounced by the hand.
