Now is the ideal time to have a go at dyeing your own sashiko thread! You can use commercial dyes, but there are also loads of gorgeous shades you can achieve using simple fruit, vegetables and flowers you already have around you. Don't forget to share your results with us!
These threads are fine - the same thickness as the Daruma 40m threads so can easily be used together. They have been bleached and mercerised and are ready for dyeing. Please note that if you use these threads without dyeing them, they may take up dye from any fabrics you use them on! Depending on your project this may or may not be the look you are after...however once dyed and fixed, the colour will be stable.
