'Sashiko 365' Mega Bundle, EVERYTHING YOU NEED
Everything you need to create the stunning 'Sashiko 365' quilt blocks designed by Susan Briscoe.
Stitch a small piece of sashiko every day for a year, learning different techniques as you go, and you will end up with an heirloom to be treasured for generations to come.
Perfect for those wishing to practise mindfulness as well as people who 'don't have time' for a large project - each piece takes only a small amount if time so is not as daunting as it looks!
Of course, you can stitch more than one piece per day, or miss days when time doesn't allow. There is space in the book to chart your progress and make notes about each day's pattern.
There is a choice of fabrics, both are made by Olympus specifically for sashiko:
'Sashiko Cloth 4500' which was used by Susan to create the original quilt top
or
'Kofu Tsumugi 2008 Indigo' which many people already use for their sashiko, so other shades of this can be used for sashing, binding, backing etc.
Thread choice:
Medium Thread Pack is the Olympus 6-ply threads which you can use SINGLY
or
Fine Thread Pack, the Yokota 'Daruma' 4-ply threads used by Susan in the book - these should be used DOUBLED.
Each mega bundle includes a full, 5m bolt of fabric at the reduced price, a thread pack at the reduced price, a copy of the 'Sashiko 365' book, a white marking pen and a FREE TWIN-PACK OF OLYMPUS SASHIKO NEEDLES.
Please note you will also need fabric for the sashing, backing and binding if you want to make the complete quilt (but maybe get your blocks made before you think about this too much!)
