This is the same fabric that Susan Briscoe uses to create the stunning large quilt in her book 'Sashiko 365'.
Her version is a slightly paler shade, but only because it would look black in print if she used this dark indigo. In real life, this is a perfect colour for sashiko!
The book uses 1 whole bolt (5m) of this fabric to make the quilt top, so if you are wanting to complete this project, order a 5m bolt. Otherwise if you just want a 'dabble' at sashiko, you can order less.
