NEW! 'YASASHI' Sashiko Panel and Kit
'Yasashi' combines the Japanese word for easy (yasashii) with 'sashiko', so it means 'easy sashiko'!
This lovely, big panel is divided into 18 individual designs which are pre-printed on the fabric so no fiddly marking out is needed. The stitch marks are nice and big, so even a beginner can achieve spectacular results. The lines then wash off, if needed.
Panels are approx. 60cm x 114cm, and the fabric is high quality, thick 100% cotton, very similar to the 4500 range which the sample used in Susan Briscoe's '365' quilt book was made from.
Available either as a panel on its own (so you can choose your own thread colours), or as a kit (indigo fabric only) including a 2-pack of sashiko needles, 100m of cream sashiko thread, and instructions, packaged with a brightly coloured label suitable to give as a gift.
Once completed, the panel can be bordered and made into a wall hanging, table runner, bed quilt or anthing else you fancy!
