'So-me' means 'dyeing' in Japanese and is a craft honed over several thousand years, most famously with indigo.
With this kit, you can dip your toe into the world of the master dyers and experiment with colour combinations to your heart's content, knowing you have everything you need in one place.
Kit contains everything to dye 15 skeins of 20m sashiko thread:
● Liquid dye x 15 colours, 10ml each
● Colour fixative 50ml
● "SO-ME"-marche thread 20/6 20m x 15 skeins
● "SO-ME"-marche Easy Liner x 3
● Instructions (in English)
NB: This kit is enough to dye many more than 15 skeins. You can buy more threads separately if you need them, and even water the dyes down to make pastel colours so they go even further! Full-size 50ml dye pouches, easy liner pens etc also available separately.
