Hida Sashiko is a small-batch producer from Japan's Gifu prefecture, specialising in high quality sashiko threads which are not widely available due to the limited amount produced.
The thread is 6-ply and comes in a 145m skein in a selection of beautiful and carefully chosen colours, many inspired by the nature of the mountainous region where it is made.
I have very limited amounts of each colour available, and will restock when I can, but it is not the easiest thread to get hold of so I would advise not hanging around if you would like some!
