Create a stunning sampler of the Dianthus (Nadeshiko) design with coloured sashiko threads.
This beautiful pre-printed 'hanafukin' sampler features both sashiko and kugurezashi stitching. The corner designs are kugurezashi - where rows of sashiko stitching are applied as a base, before other threads are woven between these stitches and the fabric underneath. It's simpler than it sounds!
Kit includes the Dianthus sampler fabric, 5 cards of sashiko thread, plus sashiko needles.
