Fancy a trip out with your textile group?
We are now offering the chance to visit our 'shop' for groups of 15 or more! Although we don't have a permanent shop, we will set up a local village hall (usually in Romanby) with all our lovely fabrics, kits etc for you to browse at your leisure! This is a good chance to see our full range of stock, including fabrics on the bolt which we only usually take to the big shows. We also accept credit/debit cards.
Please phone 07740 577718 or email email@example.com to arrange a time and date.
The village of Romanby is easily reached from the A1, and also has a station on the East Coast Main Line (Northallerton) if you prefer to come by train. The station is within easy walking distance of the venue, and of Northallerton town centre.
Why not make a day of it and visit the beautiful Georgian market town of Northallerton as well?
Northallerton is famous for its many independent shops and cafes. We walk into town from our house most days and feel very lucky to have such a wonderful selection on our doorstep. Some of our favourites include:
Bettys for scrumptious cakes and afternoon tea to die for.
Lewis and Cooper for its good, old-fashioned deli style and amazing selection of all kinds of food (also the town's best all-day breakfast).
Joe Cornish Galleries for beautiful, restful photography and tasteful cards.
Lakeland and Steamer Trading for quality cookware.
Tejanos - one of the newest restaurants on the block, which we frequent regularly!
The Natural Knitter for luxury wool supplies.
Boyes for budget haberdashery (upstairs).
Casa Rustica Italian deli, cafe snd coffee shop (the best coffee in town. Fact.) - get a table if you can as it's always packed here, and with good reason!
Garthway Cafe for delicious, reasonable and filling lunches (down Garthway Arcade).
