At the weekend, we also had our friend April to help. She lives nearby and usually comes to help out at the stall and have a good look round the show. April also stayed with us for a week in May while we had 9 Japanese people over for 'Kimono World' (sorry - it was just too manic to blog about it, but the website is here http://kimonoworld.weebly.com/). She has a fantastic knowledge of all things Japanese, kimono in particular, so I know my stuff is in safe hands with her.
On Sunday, it poured with rain all day, then cleared up just in time for the end of the show. We were packed up and on our way within half an hour - a record!
Now we're home, I'm thinking about the next show, which is in Harrogate in 3 weeks' time. With stock levels demolished by the Birmingham crowd, I've ordered more from Japan, but it won't get here until 2 days before the Harrogate show at the earliest. Eek! So I'm planning for the worst case scenario and I think I've just about got enough stock, if I rejiggle things around a bit...
Meanwhile, here's a picture that a customer sent of her 5" charm pack, all spread out in all its glory. Looks fab, doesn't it? You can get one here.
